You major duties and responsibilities will include:

Architecture, Design and Development of a cloud platform for leading Australian product suite,

Working with an Architect to ensure that the platform aligns to product map,
-
Prototype, evaluate and recommend the most suitable platform,
-
Coding for product development,
-
Mentor developers on technologies, frameworks, best practices and automation tooling.
To be successful you would need to have the following skills:
-
Extensive experience in Development and Design of online services using .Net framework,
-
Strong understanding and experience with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture),
-
Solid experience with C# and WCF,
-
WCF optimisation and tuning skills,
-
Previous experience developing win forms applications,
-
Good understanding of TSQL and authoring stored procedures and Automated Unit Testing,
-
Previous exposure to .Net 4, Windows azure, TeamCity and Continuous Integration would be an advantage,
-
Exposure to ORM tools would be beneficial,
-
Outstanding communication and leadership skills, and
-
Strong business acumen.
