Our client is an innovative medium sized IT and business solutions consultancy for thefinancial servicesindustry, and they are currently seeking an Analyst Programmer to join the team. The successful person will have a dual role with the majority of their focus working in a small software development team to deliver applications for clients; they will also be involved in client site consulting services supporting BAU and project based work.

To succeed in the role you will need a technical skill set that includes:

• .NET (3.0+) using C# or VB
• MS SQL Server (design and T-SQL knowledge)
• WPF/Silverlight (XAML) or ASP.NET
• Web Services
• Agile methodology

Its desirable that you also have:

• Appreciation of Design Patterns
• DB2, Oracle
• MS TFS
• CSS
• UML

Non-technical skills that will be required in the role are:

• Ability to work autonomously
• Work will under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer focused and well presented
